Prices Still Rise - Buyers Abound

Eager home buyers are flocking to Reno looking for a home to buy; and the homes are for sale everywhere. Every corner house, on nearly every block is for sale. Some blocks have 5 or 6 houses up for sale. Why? The Reno Real Estate Market is red hot; where homes and property listed one day are sold the next; Reno, Nevada - where yesterday's $500 sage brush is now million dollar property with "purple bushes".

The Reno Nevada real estate industry in general; from home mortgages and refinance, new home starts, increased property values, all figures show that the Reno Real Estate Market in general is growing by leaps and bounds but, things tough for first time home buyers, or those with less than perfect credit. A new three bedroom home in Reno now runs around $350,ooo to $500,000 depending on how close you want your neighbor. Down payment for something like that is only around 50 grand.

Reno Home builders like Toll Brothers and real estate developers - Pearce Builders are knocking out million dollars houses in ArrowCreek and finding a stream of buyers coming in from the Bay Area daily. New homes in Reno for under 200,000 are almost non existent. Every day the prices continue to rise and the City of Reno does nothing to counter the problem.

Reno home depot locations are packed to the rim with home owners sprucing up of their newly purchased ranch homes. Most home owners surveyed by the Reno Nevada News said that they obtained a small home equity loan to repair their new home and then quickly sold it for a huge profit. The system seems to work well for those with a good line of credit; history of owning a home, paying off a mortgage, etc. Prices now are so high that if you risk such a venture you may end up with a home and a payment you can't sell, or afford.
